Landscape Painting Workshop

Drawing inspiration from the Romantic Wales: Turner and his contemporaries exhibition, this workshop invites participants to explore landscape painting through a fresh and expressive approach. Using a traditional, limited colour palette, we will investigate how artists create atmosphere and emotion through mood, composition and mark making. Working with sponges, textured tools and a variety of unconventional techniques, participants will be encouraged to loosen their style, experiment with different effects and build confidence in their creative decision-making.
Suitable for all abilities, this engaging and supportive workshop offers plenty of practical ideas to take away, making it a valuable addition to any artist’s painting toolkit. No previous experience is required.
There is one session on 20 October at 10:30am to 12:30pm. Spaces are limited to 10 people, so advance booking is essential. Carers go free (but please let us know in advance if a carer will be coming).
Tickets are pre-bookable for £15.00 plus 7%+VAT booking fee charged by Ticketsource.
