School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

Carmarthenshire Museum in Abergwili is turning into a School of Witchcraft and Wizardry this October half term, with a programme of potion-making, broom-making, folk tales and theatre that shows Halloween can be great fun without the waste.

Person pouring green liquid from a small glass bottle into a metal bowl containing red ingredients on a wooden table, surrounded by books, candles, potion bottles, and a quill, creating a magical workshop scene.

Join our Carmarthenshire Museum School of Witchcraft and Wizardry where you can mix natural potions using herbs and other sustainable ingredients, make your own brooms from natural materials while learning a traditional craft, and create bat-themed crafts from recycled materials; a chance to talk about the bats and other wildlife that share our homes and gardens, and how to look after them..

There is one session on 29 October at 1:45pm, lasting 1 hour. Spaces are limited to 10 people, so advance booking is essential. Carers go free (but please let us know in advance if a carer will be coming).

Tickets are pre-bookable for £5.00 plus 7%+VAT booking fee charged by Ticketsource.
