Guided Tours

Museum Tours

We're pleased to offer guided tours of the Museum for group visitors lasting up to an hour from one of our knowledgeable staff members. The tour will introduce you to the history of the Old Bishop's Palace and will share some highlights of the collection especially chosen by our team.

If you would like to book a tour for your group, we charge £5 per person, with payment accepted in advance or on the day.

We recommend a maximum of 15 people per tour to ensure the best experience for your group. For larger groups, we recommend splitting the group so that some join a tour, while others explore the Museum and Park. The groups can then swap around after each tour.

Themed Tours

We are happy to facilitate special or themed tours of particular galleries, objects, or exhibitions for groups. Please get in touch at least two weeks in advance by phone or email to discuss your requirements.
