Schools and education groups at the Museum of Land Speed

The Museum of Land Speed is a place that can excite our next engineers and inspire our next inventors. The stories of bravery, creativity, and ingenuity that we tell offer people from every generation models for how to overcome challenges and solve problems.
We aim to make every visit to the Museum special. Whether you're looking to run a self-led experience, or if you'd like to take advantage of our facilitated workshops, we offer plenty of ways to engage with the stories of science and speed. And don't forget, sign up your school or education group to our membership scheme to access even more ways to get the most out of your visit, including unlimited loan boxes and a goody bag from our gift shop!

Workshops at the Museum of Land Speed
Workshops here focus on both the science of speed, and also the rich natural landscape of the Pendine Sands.

Preview visits
School staff and education group leaders are welcome to make a preview visit in preparation for their visit. This can be done at any time.
Preview visits can be self-led or you are welcome to ask for assistance from a member of the CofGâr team. Please let us know in advance by phone or email if you wish to arrange a preview visit so that we can inform our Visitor Services team to expect you.
Preview visits are useful for site familiarisation, carrying out risk assessments, logistics planning and making sure exhibits match their learning goals. For these reasons, they are recommended, but they are not mandatory.

School staff and education group leaders are welcome to visit the site beforehand to carry out their own risk assessment as well. Please let us know in advance so that we can ensure our Visitor Services team are aware of the purpose of your visit.
