People's Collection Wales
What is the People's Collection Wales?
The People’s Collection Wales (PCW) is a national digital archive that preserves and shares the diverse histories of Wales. It offers an accessible platform for organisations, community projects and individuals to publish heritage material and tell their stories in their own words. PCW is led by the National Library of Wales, Amgueddfa Cymru, and the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Wales.
What do they do?
Alongside their publishing platform, they provide free guidance on every stage of the archival process—from copyright and legal considerations to digitisation and digital curation. This support is available to all projects, organisations and individuals wishing to share their historical material.
